Social Outings

Since the inception of the Foundation in the 90’s, the main goal has been to raise money. However, with the great families represented at the Creek, it became apparent that adults and kids alike love the social aspect of gathering with others from the Creek. Therefore, over the years, various events and social outings have been facilitated, supported and organized through the foundation and through various families who help to support the foundation. 

Every year, the Holiday Ornament Exchange, has become a favorite of the ladies at Sope Creek. On a cold mid week night in December, listen for the resounding laughter of the mom’s, administrative staff, teacher’s and grandmothers who are supporting the Foundation while having a fabulous time!

This past school year, you could hear the giggles coming from approximately 35 girls as they participated in an after school Cheer Clinic. The Cheer Clinic culminated with a family fun night at the Hawks’ game. During this game, both boys and girls from Sope Creek were able to participate in on court fun!

In past years, the Social committee has put together various fundraising events ranging from Gala’s to Tennis Round Robbins. This year will be no less. Some events are fully funded and supported by the Foundation, while other events are funded through the generosity of our Sope Creek Parents, where all proceeds are given back to the Foundation. 

 

We are always looking for ideas and families to host such events!

 Ladies, please plan to bring a $15 or under (holiday themed) type gift; ornaments, gifts representing your favorite sports team, holiday table decor, anything goes!
 Please have all checks made payable to the Sope Creek Foundation; Click HERE for Form to send with payment (in the memo section please write your name & Foundation Holiday Exchange Party) on the check in the memo section) to school in your child’s backpack to school. You may also put your check in the Sope Creek Foundation basket in the front office.

? We are FULL~thank you to all those that have signed up for the Cheer Clinic. We look forward to an AWESOME event!! ?
The clinic will start with a personal visit from Harry the Hawk and an Atlanta Hawk
Cheerleader.  Afterwards, the Walton High School Cheerleaders will teach participants
cheer leading skills and cheers. T-shirt, snack and pompoms included!
     BONUS: Limited participants will have the opportunity to  perform on court during the
           pre-game of the Hawks game on Sunday,December 4th! *

First annual Tailgate party a huge success!!!

In September of this year we had our 1st awesome event of this school year. Thank you to all of the families represented at the Tailgate party held in September.  It was a winning success!  Raising around $3,000 to support programming for our kids at the Creek.
